heres another thought this ways in @ 1gigabyte or so on the japanese psn while i was trolling the japanese psn shop. that it is way to damn big for and e shop game.

E-Shop supports games up to 2GB right now. So just about any retail game could also get a digital release, only a few use larger carts.

You're right, I missed that, but it's still beside the point. Nintendo plans to put retail games on the eshop, and it will certainly support something that's only 1GB.

Edit: And it's only 540MB on PSN.

Like many others have said before me and will continue to, after this gen I'm pretty much done with gaming.
I refused to support DD when it was an option and I'll refuse when/ if it becomes the norm.

So you're going to tell me out of all the DD they've done, they can't afford to bring 1 physical?
Fishing Resort of all things came in a bundled edition and out of everyone I know, no one even bother to note it even existed.
It isn't overreacting, it's the truth at this point. They reached a point where they feel safe and won't budge. I understand that not every game can have a physical copy but after 3-4 DD only games, you can't tell me they can't afford to bring over at least 1 physical.

Uh, read what you just typed again. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that game were a flop but XSEED doesn't usually state that (and a lot of companies don't). I know a lot of people like to point at Aksys too but they've had a couple releases lately where if they broke even, I'd be shocked. If you want to stop gaming when everyone goes digital, fine, that's your prerogative. You'll save a lot of money in the long run and you should be able to enjoy all those games you have already for many years to come. But...that won't stop the industry from going that way.

If people were not supporting DD, that wouldn't be a good way for them. So I'm standing by my desire : physical games. So I, at least, won't encourage them going that way.
