I need your help, XSEED forums.
I suck at the Air Robo Gp race things and I accepted a mission involving one. I don't want to fail at the mission, (don't even know if that's possible), so I have to do it. Any tips?

From what I learned. Always grab those crystals you see on the track, or at least when it's not totally out of the way or in something. Use your turbo on straitways and/or near the finish line. Try to grab item boxes with the cloud. It really helps you get ahead.

You can also use turbo to boost your speed. Just tapping the turbo button accelerates you quickly to your top normal speed, and you'll continue moving fast even if you don't keep the turbo on. It's great for getting your speed back up if you slowed down for some reason.

I'm having trouble with these races too
I go ahead and do them so it stops telling me there's a new quest, but it would be nice to actually win the races ;;

I don't have any troubles in the GP races. :P, OF COURSE at first I had to figure how this thing work, With the L / R buttons, you can drifts in the air with it, I use it a lot now to turn and etc. *Yes, those flashing bubbles help you to go faster*, but also slower if you keep getting hit or rush in into the "invisible wall", but in a straight line, press it.
*I've beat the record of that last dude who want to challenge you in the first season for a race and won the "Sirocco".(French Version)*
I hope it help :3.

A couple tips that might help--
As mentioned above, holding down L/R while turning allows you to drift, which will help make those tight turns easier, or help you move out of the way of an obstacle.
However, when you drift, it tends to go strongly in the first direction you go, so decide where you're going to drift before you do it! If you change your mind in the middle, the turning speed of a second drift while in the middle of the first drift is slower.
Collecting those floating colored balls will give you more boost gauge, which lets you get ahead in straight runs, and also lets you pick up speed if you accidentally hit the wall (just tap the boost a bit if you scrape a wall, and you'll pick up your lost speed quickly).
If all else fails:
Press start and choose "Try Again", and you'll start at the beginning of the race again. =P You can do this if you find yourself making tons of mistakes in a run; it's faster than letting the race finish without winning, having to re-accept the quest, and starting again.

Rawr, also one last tips. When the race is about to start, press B and A at the same time to give an extra boost. @_@ ~Tiger VI out!
