I find myself jumping, everywhere. It's not the quickest mode of conveyance, but it amuses me.
On foot, I'll go back for my robot later if I need it.
By robot, to intimidate the townsfolk.
Dash, for when you absolutely have to be there in 30s or less.
I jump everywhere... like a dog, riding a robot, pretending to be a rabbit.

I walk around with my robot. Like a boss!
Dashing is the best, except when you get your speed super high. In the Japanese version, I minmaxed so much my regular walking speed was actually faster than the dashing.
Don't hate me, but walking because you can find plenty of objects on the ground without noticing them when you drive your robots and also, to admire the zone you are in :3 (City / dungeon / forest.) You get the point

I walk. However, I usually wak very fast, so it's pretty annoying when you see those people walking slowly in front of you.
