Need some info

Hi there! I'm willing to buy Persona 2 collector's on amazon.ca, I wondered if any of you had bad experience with them. I know it's a box so I fear it might get damaged during the shipping

I don't know about amazon.ca, but I buy almost all my new games from amazon.com these days and have had great luck with packages arriving undamaged.

I bought Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles Premium from them recently and received it completely pristine. (With free shipping)
They will send it in a sturdy rectangular box with some "air bags" to prevent any damage to the game box and prevent it from moving.

On the other hand, I bought two other bigger boxes in 2010-- One was almost perfect but the box of the other one was a bit crushed near the top. I don't remember how they were packed though.

NISA sent me a lot of similarly packaged premium games and they were all in perfect condition. I guess I was just unlucky with that one order.

Edit : just checked and the one that was a bit crushed was packed along with Alan Wake limited edition so I guess it didn't help

I ordered Ys I & II & Seven from amazon.ca (also with free shipping) and they arrived in perfect condition, until i dropped I & II . They came in those wrap around cardboard packaging rather than in a cardboard box with plastic air bag, but with my Legend of Heroes it came in the same packaging but something slightly crushed the package so there is a dent on the back of LoH box and a crease on one side. I ordered Persona from amazon.ca and I hope it gets here without a dent, I'll know when I get it on Monday.

I'm extremely picky about my Limited Edition games and often ask Gamestop for a different copy if they hand me one with even a slightly dented box, so when I received my Agarest War Zero LE with a corner dented a bit, that was enough for me to never order there again. I guess it depends on how picky you are about your stuff.

I have never once had an issue ordering directly from NISA, they always have great communication, process on time, and ship quickly with thier product packaged very well. Plus you get the benefit of extra swag when you order from them, so for anything NISA related I highly recommend ordering direct.

Oh and you get a $5 gift certificate for ever $50 you spend in the store, so even as a Canadian who doesn't get to take advantage of thier free domestic shipping, it really helps offset the price of thier shipping which makes it even more appealing.

For anything else I just grit my teeth and use Gamestop, despite how much I dislike them.

I'm real picky. I had a light scuff on my Ys 1&2 Chronicles, I was pissed off. Even worse, when I pre-ordered it from microplay, it came as a display O_o I mean the box was opened, soundtrack out, box resealed, game out but not unsealed. I was like...Sorry Guys, I can't take that, it's not new anymore YOU OPENED IT ?%!?%/"?

It's not NISA doing Atelier Totori, I had the surprise to see Koei on this one O_o I don'T understand!

I'm not sure why it says Koei wherever you're looking, but it is NISA handling it.

I've had my preorder for Atelier Totori in with NISA for weeks.

But you have to pay for the shipping? It's free shipping with amazon, I'll try to get Persona 2, and If I'm okay with the packaging I'll try buying Atelier Totori. The worst case scenario => I buy it twice, one on amazon, the other in gamebuzz and I sell the other one for high price XD
