There's a difference between chapters being ripped out of the middle, and the book just not having an epilogue.
And in both cases, it's unnecessary, particularly for RPGs.

If they are "good enough" then they should have been on the disc in the first place, not held back because of greed.

Do you have a job? Have you never had deadlines to meet?

While I know there have been times in the past where DLC has been abused, I for one enjoy DLC for the most part. It gives developers opportunities to release additional content that would have otherwise been cut from the game so that they could meet manufacturing and distribution dates.

Well, there was Assassin's Creed II, which had two mid-game sequences that were included for the PC but apparently not on the consoles (I played on the PS3, my friend played on the PC, and we figured this out after I got confused about the "boat assassination" she was complaining about - specifically Bonfire of the Vanities). But I'd file that under "bad DLC" and it definitely isn't indicative of DLC as a whole.

Announcing them this far ahead has nothing to do with deadlines and everything to do with staggering content releases for more money.

    DLC is indefensible.

Does anyone know if the spellbook accessory is also going to be released for the PS3 version, or was it exclusive to the DS version?

Knowing Level 5, it'll probably be DLC.

This just demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge regarding the development cycle. If this game is releasing in December, content needed to be finalized months ago.

I think the same thing as nephlabobo but sometimes maybe they han't the time to put it's the new way for the companies to make more money and it actually cost less than remake a game adding new things inside like all the kingdom hearts final mix or mix +
