That would be like Square Enix releasing ONLY Final Fantasy titles! It would do nothing but make their cash cow stale and alienate all the fans of their other series.

Besides... and I don't feel bad saying this, since we've released more Ys games than Legend of Heroes games at this point... Ys games are waaaaay better than Legend of Heroes games, in my opinion. I'd take a new Ys game over a new LoH game any day of the week!

(Which isn't to say I dislike Legend of Heroes, of course -- I *love* Legend of Heroes! -- I just find Ys titles to be more personally appealing to me due to their incredibly fast, fun gameplay.)

I tend to agree, only because I weight gameplay a little more than story. I love the Ys series for the extremely fun gameplay, whereas I love Legend of Heroes for the amazing characters and plotline. Both are awesome, and I'd be really sad if either one of them just up and got discontinued, but I can't argue with how much fun Oath in Felghana is to play, among others :P

Fear not! It's Ys; therefore it will be awesome.

And I'm looking forward to see a whole new PS Vita game from Falcom since the system was announced.

Yes, it ll be awesome for sure. But will it be awesome enough to meet my expectations? My self made hype on that game. It is Ys IV, it just has so much potential to be so awesomely epic. Listen to DoY and MotS soundtracks. Think about the story in both. Look what Falcom did with Felghana. Will same happen in Celceta?

I'm hopeful they'll pull another OiF. It was a huge improvement over Ark of Napishtim, after all.

If Celceta not only improves on Ys Seven as much as Oath improved on Ark, but also improves on Ys IV as much as Oath did for Ys III, it should be a real treat.

Falcom has yet to let me down, so I doubt they'll let me down with this one. It's one of the reasons I love their games so much -- I can always count on them to be awesome. There's never that worry going into them that maybe they'll be less awesome than I was hoping... because they never, ever are.

The only Falcom games I've been disappointed with were ones made waaaaaaaaay back in the day. And it's less "I was disappointed" and more "I expected to not like them anyways".
