I remember listening to track after track from the Ys series and other Falcom games, asking myself if the games would make it over here.

Fast forward to today, and I'm now working my way through Ys II.

Thank you so much for bringing Ys and TitS over here.

Pitching in my thanks, too - had you not translated them and released those fantastic limited editions, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten into Ys and Falcom! You guys are really great. Now we've got a great forum community here too.

While I've only just started Ys Seven, I've got to thank you guys from bringing over such a collection of Falcom games. I realize how big a risk you guys are taking (more so with TitS than Ys), and rest assured it is appreciated.

I'll also pop my head in here and give thanks for localizing Trails In The Sky, i'm a big fan of the Legend of Heroes games (Tear of Vermillion in particular) and while Moonlight Witch was a bit lame IMHO, the only thing these RPGs had messed up was the abysmal translation. I was a bit worried with Trails in The Sky, but barely a few minutes in and i knew it was properly done this time.

I'm almost done with the game and i'm eager to hear news for the rest of the trilogy ^.^

Moonlight Witch is one of my favorite RPGs of all time, and my favorite Legend of Heroes game.

    In Japanese, anyway.

White Witch is so good that it even managed to move me in broken English. Too bad those-bums-at-a-company-other-than-XSEED also chopped out the anime intro... selling the import version was a mistake!

That was such a great anime intro, too, wasn't it? Tear of Vermilion and Song of the Ocean had better intros in their Windows versions, but Moonlight Witch's Japanese PSP intro was GORGEOUS, and easily surpassed the Windows version IMHO.

    J-PSP version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO18E2nYpB0

You know what had an even *better* intro, though? The Japanese Sega Saturn version of Moonlight Witch!

I would've bought a Saturn for that game, back in the day. Such a shame it never got an English release! Not that it would've sold well, but still. (:

Grrr. I really get irritated by the bashing of Bandai. Their translations were no worse than virtually any RPG from the SNES-PS1 era. Good? No. But not near as bad as all the complaining implies...

And they brought over the entire trilogy, something that Xseed has yet to do. No offense, but I'm sure sales weren't exactly stellar for them, and they went ahead anyway. Granted, being at a big company, they were in a position to, but still, they didn't have to. And they fixed the loading problems in the Japanese version of Moonlight Witch for the NA release (why it was the 2nd game...).

I had to register just so I could add my thanks as well. I was pleasantly surprised by Trails in the Sky as I was not the biggest fan of the other games from the series that were brought over. I really hope Xseed intends to bring over the rest of the chapters because I would definitely buy them.

Not only am I super happy to FINALLY play an RPG with a female lead (a good one at that who is NOT a mage and useless for anything but healing), I also like that the characters are all so charming and the dialogue is fantastic. You did a stellar translation job and you are hitting all of the right buttons with me. I loved Ys Seven and the Oath in Felghana and I eagerly look forward to the next game you decide to bring out.

Thanks again and please keep up the good work.
