Bloody hell XSeed, give consumers a choice. Don't punish the ones that want it on disc.
Incredibly pissed about Corpse Party.

TC apparently missed the part about XSEED only having two options: whether to localize the game as DD or to not localize it at all.
Be happy with what you get.
Actually, no, I will not "be happy with what I get". I am a consumer, and I want the option that suits me best.
The onus is on them to convince me to buy their product. Why should I give them money if it's not what I want?
Remember that XSEED's the one that has to shell out the money first in order to create the physical copies. It's not anything personal against you, of course, but I think they've made clear the reasons they made their choice not to release a physical copy.
That's just the state of things, unfortunately.
However, it seems you'd like for that to change. There is one primary thing that must be addressed in order for the change to be made: that projected sales from physical copies must cover the cost of physical copies themselves. I'm no marketing or sales person, so I don't know how they figured the numbers, but I think they decided against physical copies as they were worried that they wouldn't be able to make up the cost.
*Cough* However....
Now that the sales numbers are in and Corpse Party has been topping the PSN download charts, XSEED guys--! Do you think some sort of limited physical release is possible?
Even if it weren't, what could I do to convince you to get the game, Nephlabobo? I think the game is totally worth it--! It was my first digital download game myself, and there're no regrets here!
Do you think I'm cheating myself out of something by not getting a physical copy? Hey, it's less clutter, it's portable and will always be with the PSP so I can't misplace the UMD or something, less industrial waste and energy use in production--many reasons to support a DD! I can understand your reluctance, but personally, it's more important that I have the experience of playing the game than having the game in a specific format.
Yeah, but they depend on me to make their money back, so they better do it the way *I* want.
Not good enough
Get them to put it on a disc. Otherwise, nothing in the entire universe will convince me.
Well, you made a mistake when you chose what's most important.
Why should they take a chance of ruining themselves just to make the people who are convinced they have to own a physical copy happy?
This is the first game they're publishing digital-only for the PSP if I recall correctly...
