If One Piece was as popular in North America as Naruto is, then it wouldn't be a problem. It's not that it doesn't have it's fans, but it's just not NEARLY as popular...

here when you say one piece even people who don't know anything about manga know it , it's even the second after naruto ! but as you said maybe not everywhere indeed it's strange to see how different it between 2 countries , though here a majority of people don't like manga stuff so a manga in game it's near foolishness and incomprehension here ( but not for me )

I think if it had a longer (uncut, or even just a light censorship) TV run, there would've been more chance with it becoming popular. But yeahhhhh....
Look at it this way: it's got a higher chance at getting localized, since it's a Warriors game.
I mean, look at Dynasty Warriors Gundam and Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage.
