Did Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls sell well?

I know Wizardry games really appeal to a niche within a niche, so it makes me wonder how well this one has done to date. I know the price point was very attractive so maybe that helped with people who may have been on the fence about it.

Can't talk about sales numbers, I'm afraid -- AngrySalesMonkey will thwack me upside the head if I do! I'll just go with my usual line, which has so far applied to pretty much every game we've released since I joined the company: it didn't flop, but it sure won't be buying us any solid gold houses either.

Regarding DLC, I'm sorry to tell you this... but there is no more! What's available on PSN right now is all the DLC that exists for Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. The only way we could release more would be if Acquire created more, but they seem to have moved on to other projects.

There is a sequel to Labyrinth of Lost Souls, though, which we're still evaluating whether or not to release here. If you'd like to see us release the sequel, spread the word about LoLS -- let people know how awesome the game is so they can, as the kids are saying these days, "vote with their dollars." The more LoLS sells, the more we'll be able to justify releasing the sequel to our parent company, our investors, etc.

I'm glad it didn't flop. I hope you will bring the sequel and other dungeon crawler type games.

Apparently there's going to be two new scenarios released on PSN in Japan when the "Wizardry Perfect Pack" comes out (December 8th).

    do not want!
bought the game and found it to be pretty dark and tedious for my tastes(also, the fact that the game was first person perspective didnt help with things either).so, i'd rather xseed to focus all their energy and money in to cooler games than this

The game brought a few new fans for XSEED, and it was my first XSEED game. I do want to keep seeing XSEED working on Wizardry and more PS3 titles.

    Bought it, love it still.

I happened to see the game up for sale on PSN and bought it right away. I actually started a party from the old days of Proving Grounds (nes) in 1990. I would like to see a sequel, but its doubtful since these games are about game play, more than graphics. I can always wish though.

I actually bought my PS3 to play Demon Souls, so seeing Wizardry there was a bonus since I am not interested in many PS3 games.
