Sorry XSeed, but after the Xenoblade debacle, I won't be buying any new Nintendo systems. Therefore, any games you put on these systems, I won't be purchasing. (Minus the plain ole DS Lite, which I already own.)
Please think very carefully about which systems you release your games on in the future.

I feel where you're coming from right now. I was already on the fence about Wii U, this just adds insult to injury and I'm really tempted to follow your lead. With all this bad press and the already declining attitude towards Nintendo shared among the vast majority of "core" gamers, this next generation of consoles and portables is going to be in an interesting one.
I honestly think Sony has Nintendo cornered in the portable sector, if they can get the PSV to market before the 3DS kicks into gear. On the console end, I honestly predict the Wii U to be dead in the water within 2-3 years, or however long it takes Sony and MS to get their new consoles out. From a technology standpoint I just don't think the Wii U will be able to compete.
I guess we'll see what happens.
I can imagine everyone at XSeed at a board meeting, making decisions about which video games to translate. Someone suggests a game that is on a nintendo system, and then in the other side of the room, you can hear someone else suck in their breath through a clenched jaw. "ahh, we can't do that title. Nephlabobo won't buy it."

Nephlaboo is entitled to his opinion. He's not in violation of our rules for complaining about a problem he believes to be affecting the console gaming industry, especially when he does so on a board specifically designed for complaints.
That having been said, though... Neph, man, the staff at Atlus are good peoples. I'm sure they had their reasons for taking the action they did, and while you may not agree with it, it is their message board and their prerogative to do so. If you feel you must complain about them, go right ahead -- but please try to do so via intelligent discourse. Flaming them outright is probably not the best course of action.

I think you're jumping to conclusions too soon about that debacle.
We still have a chance to get it, or even all three.
NoA just gave "no plans at this time" so maybe they're waiting until it comes out in Europe.
You gotta be patient.
I don't really come here to post because I ♥ XSEED. I have nothing against the Wii but I don't own one and have no plans to get one because there are no games on the system that I want to play. Chances are I will not buy one even if there is a game I wish to play because buying a system for one or two games is pointless.
The Wii's library is pretty weak, but I'd say Rune Factory: Frontier alone makes it worthwhile. But then I absolutely love that series. :P And in other news, apparently the scalpers on Amazon are asking for $129.99+ for a new copy now!Originally Posted by Eon
