Games You've Never Beaten, But Wish You Had/Could

Last night i was playing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and the idea for this thread came up and so, here it is

Just post any or all games that you've never beaten but wish you had already beaten it or that you could beat it. Obviously, you should give a reason as to WHY you've never beaten those games, but if you don't want to, thats cool too.

Anyways, i'll start, i'm not sure if i'll post ALL the games i've never beaten in one go, but i'll post some important ones now :P

    Lets see...

    Xbox 360:

Call of Juarez: Got sidetracked about half-way through when i got Oblivion for xmas 08 and never gone back to it since.
Enchanted Arms: Stuck at the end boss...
Just Cause: I didn't play past 2-3hrs at best and ever since, i haven't been able to get back into it.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: Everytime i've picked it up, i get side tracked from it.
Sega Rally Revo: I'm obssessed with finishing EVERY race in 1st place BEFORE moving on to the next....yes, i know, sad right?
Tales of Vesperia: Spoiler Warning! I killed Alaxei and thought it was the end, but it turns out it wasn't...so i'm sidetracked from it ever since way back then....
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: I can never get seriously into it, i get bored sooner or later or get turned into a vamp by accident
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent: Lets just say that unless it's MGS, i prefer more action-oriented games then this one.

    Xbox Live Arcade:

    Contra: Simple...IT'S TOO FRICKING HARD!!!
Puzzle Quest: Challange of The Warlords: No real reason, i just haven't taken it up again where i left off.
Streets of Rage 2: Read Contra...

    Playstation 3:

Demon's Souls: This one should be self-explenatory...
Enslaved: Odyssey to The West: Side tracked, hoping to take it up soonish.
Final Fantasy XIII: Worst FF...EVER. Nuff said

    PC:
Too many too list, coming soon

    Wii:

A Boy and His Blob: Kinda got stuck in one of the World 3 levels...
    Alien Syndrome: Boring...
Cursed Mountain: Side-tracked from it, but was greatly enjoing what i played of it, need to go back to it soon.
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors: Side-Tracked, want to finish it, need to squeeze it in somewhere.
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon: Side-tracked (it's becoming a trend).
Metroid Prime Trilogy: Yup, you guessed it...side-tracked.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade: Yep, what you are thinking.
    Spyborgs: Side-tracked...
Super Mario Galaxy: I left off right near the very end when i got burned out of playing it so much way back then. Planning to get back to it.....soon.
Tenchu: Shadow Assassins: So bad, i got bored, even though i tried very hard not to.

    Wii Virtual Console:

Breath of Fire II: Stuck about 2/3 of the way in...somewhere...i don't even remember where exactly.
    Mega Man: Too hard :P
    Neutopia: Seemed kinda...primitive.
Super Metroid: It was fun, but i got bored out of the open-endedness.
The Legend of The Mystical Ninja: Never made it past about half-way through.

    PSP:

Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony: I got pretty far in, but i ran into a glitch that allowed me to level up with every kill, so i got pissed off and rage-quit.
Dungeons & Dragons Tactics: Too much strategy involved.
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of The Lion: Played it through twice and gotten stuck at the same point, too lazy to grind up through the class i need/should be for the particular place i'm stuck at.
Final Fantasy: No story = No incentive to continue.
Final Fantasy III: Still not enough story to hook me, doesn't help that it's hard.
Untold Legends: Brotherhood of The Blade: Almost finished it, but got bored with it eventually.
Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code: Read previous entry.

    Nintendo GameCube:
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door: Sidetracked.
    Resident Evil 0: Got stuck...someplace.
Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut: Quite possibly the worst Sonic game i've ever played.
Star Fox Adventures: I got pretty far in, but i randomly stopped playing.
The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age: Got stuck defending a fort or something from the Uruk-Hai.

    Nintendo DS:

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of The Chosen: Got stuck once i got into the main part of the game, no idea where to go or what to do.
Final Fantasy III: More story then FF, but still not enough to hook me...didn't help that the game is hard.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon: Got stuck near the end.
    Lunar Dragon Song: Not fun.
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren The Wanderer: It's not an easy game man

    Playstation 2:

.hack: One of the worst games i've ever wasted my money on :P *hides from conurebleu*
Chaos Legion: Bland and boring Devil May Cry wannabe.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of The Cursed King: Side tracked.
Final Fantasy X: Stuck at the fight against Sin near (or at?) the end.
Final Fantasy X-2: Have little motivation to play it since i want to beat FFX first.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City: I got up to a certain place that i didn't know what to do to progress o.O
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy: About half-way through, got side-tracked.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance: It was fun, but i didn't like Raziel's part when the game switched me to him :P
Maximo: Ghosts to Glory: Despite what i was expecting, the game was a lot harder then i was prepared for.
Resident Evil Code Veronica X: Stuck about 2/3 of the way in.
Star Ocean: Till The End of Time: Boss fight near the end keeps handing me my backside.
Suikoden III: Stuck on a boss fight against a giant bird right near the beginning (sad, right?).
    The Bard's Tale: Hard.
Xenosaga Episode I: Stuck in a boss fight somewhere past the halfway point.

    SNES:

Battletoads/Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team: Always die on Stage 3 or shortly afterwards...

    Games that don't fit elsewhere:

Sonic 1, 2, 3, Kunckles, Spinball: Never EVER beaten any of those, i'm playing Sonic 2 on an emulator on my laptop right now HOPING to be able to beat it. Yeah, it's a little pathetic

I'll post a couple more later on :P

So, is that a list of games you haven't beaten, but you "wish" you did?

Or is that a list of games you haven't beaten period, because you found them boring, because you were possibly unskilled and not as good as SimRonan, or some other reason you drummed up out of thin air?

I'm just curious, that's all, because that list of games that broke your spirit and kicked you in the unmentionables while you were down kinda (read: severely) contradicts the thread's overall topic.

Super Mario Bros on the NES. I just can't do it, for some reason. It's the only mainline Mario game I haven't beaten, and for some reason I just can't beat it.

Other than that, primarily just a handful of classics that never clicked with me. 3D Zelda games are big offenders, I'm going to give Ocarina of Time another shot soon.

    Both/All.

I just thought it'ld be fun to share our list of shame containing all/some of the games we've never beaten because we sucked at them, got stuck, didn't like enough and/or got side tracked from.

Personally for me, all that i posted i own and there's kind-of a trend in it as well. Most RPGs i've never beaten is because i got stuck in some fight or another, most Action or Shooter games i've gotten bored with or side tracked from and so on.

Haha, for real? i've never thought 3D Zelda games were hard, on the contrary, i've found em to be kinda easy.

None. Some games (especially RPGs) take me a huge amount of time to finish, but if they're good I will get them in the end. There are some games that I stopped playing because they were crappy, but I believe that belongs in the "Games you've never beaten and wish you had never bought" thread.

It's not difficulty, I just found OoT, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess to be extremely boring and not fun. Wind Waker was the most enjoyable of the three I've played, I think I managed to put 8 or 10 hours into it before I lost interest.

I love Link to the Past though, and will definitely play Link's Awakening someday since it's supposed to be really awesome too.

Seriously? I think i could say the same of the pre-OoT Zelda games. The original drove me to tears of boredom almost immediately and ALtTP got a little boring too.

To each their own though, lol.
I always found OoT to be great, but i'm also biased because that was my friend Zelda game.

    Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I sure wish I could beat this game, but I can't, because it is a crappy game. Bad controls, a range of attack that feels like half a pixel and only for a quick second, and annoying "random battles" on the overworld in which you can get knocked into a pit and lose a "life?" Why do some people still like this game? It's awful.

I just wish I could beat it to say I have, because I love the series overall, and the games that came before it and immediately after are sublime.
