Marvelous and XSeed have a co-publishing agreement. So by default this should mean that XSeed is bringing over GKH.

I just recently found out stuff about this game.

+1 people who would definitely buy this game if it was brought over.

Yes, but Ignition has been on the downward slope for a while and with the recent news of Shane apparently leaving the company it seems like they lost one of their most important people concerning localizations. Personally I'm hoping that this means Ignition will eventually quit localizing titles altogether and leave to more competant companies like XSEED, Atlus, and NISA.

"Mangod" left Ignition? Did not know that.

And yes, we are on good terms with Marvelous, as are plenty of other companies such as Natsume, Aksys, and Atlus, but the good news is that they are merging with our parent company AQI come October 1st. We'll see what we can do.

I don't see what company would take on localizing this game considering the online component is a big part of the game. This game uses actual hosted servers and not just Adhoc like the majority of PSP games. I don't see any company wanting to host servers with the PSP's mediocore software sales and piracy outside of Japan. It wouldn't do the game justice to not include the online portion either.

As long as the game can be played completely offline (which at this point I can't tell if it can or not...), I don't see that being much of an issue. Everything Vanillaware does is gold.

My copy arrived yesterday but I haven't had time to give it a go yet since I'm playing other games. Unfortunately Vanillaware or Marvelous decided to ban importers from playing the online portion of the game on the Japanes servers.

The online campaign is the major focus of the game. From what I've been able to tell, the offline portions exist almost solely so you can recruit and train knights for the online war.

Assuming that online is a major portion of the gameplay and that pirates can't access the server, this may be more a plus to publishers to bring it other rather than a negative, especially if Japan (Vanillaware and/or Marvelous) can handle the servers for the overseas players somehow.
