    European Localization

The hate board seems approapriate to issue this complaint.

I'm a gamer from Europe and I play a bunch of your of games but am sadden about the fact that there never are any proper European releases, physical releases that is.

What's the reason for this? I'd love to get some nice limited edition swag too, but a game to hold in my hands is even better. Is there's a lack of a European Branch of sorts?

Ghostlight among others seem to be looking for games to localize all the time, have you guys ever thought about getting in contact with them?

I would appreicate it if you at Xseed Games would reach out to your fans outside America too a bit more. Your localization jobs are one of the best!

Turquoise_sandwich, Xseed have no physical base in Europe thats why they only do digital only releases to us but they're doing a good job IMO, Atlus USA have published just ONE game (Persona) to the European store despite having a few other PSP titles rated by the PEGI.

I'm a little annoyed that Trails in the Sky has not been released yet onto our store but at least we know its coming and you never know that game may well be getting a physical release (a chance of a limited edition!) hence the delay on the digital one.

Ghostlight have done business with Xseed in the past, they provided them their localization of Shadow Hearts: From the New World but I can imagine its not just them they'd have to deal with if Xseed only have the US rights.

Some of the games that Xseed localizes in North America are localized by Rising Star Games in Europe, so you might want to visit their site (if you haven't already):

I've recently joined their forum (as I tend to play PAL games).

As Trails-Rich stated, we don't have a physical base in Europe so the best we can hope for is that a European publisher such as Rising Star Games, Ghostlight (good memory on us working with Ghostlight for Shadow Hearts by the way), or someone else wants to release a packaged product themselves, either by working with us or the Japanese IP holder directly.

Luckily, Ghostlight was very interested in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and have already announced their plans to release their own collector's edition in Europe, so hopefully that will sell well and pave the way for more of our other titles getting a physical European release.
