As a manga reader I can answer several of those questions, but I'd suggest just reading the manga. For reference there's 45 chapters out. We're getting about 1 episode per chapter (though the beginning was a bit out of order, it's back in manga order now), and iirc it'll be 25 or 26 episodes. So they'll be ending it at a massive cliffhanger that will make you want to read the manga anyway. They'll either shift some stuff around or do filler and end it at chapter 23 or cut/rush some stuff and end it around 28

the problem was for me it automatically zoomed to the bottom with the most recent post so it caught my eye right away lol. doing the white text is probably still better though you can still see it without too much trouble (though hopefully not at a glance). SPOILER reply eren can transform into a titan, possibly because of whatever his father injected him with

I know what you mean. It is difficult to read. Of course, whenever I want to access text like that I just highlight it, and problem solved.

EDIT: When you quote someone, that first one is nearly invisible. You can just barely see the faint outline of it.

It was hard xD and I chose a different kind of color from yours because of it. Anyway, back on topic, I'm really digging the show, that's why I don't want to read the manga. It keeps me wanting more and more :P I will read it once the anime ends. It'll be good to refresh my memory with the stuff that happened in the beginning and to see if there were any differences since the manga is still ongoing and the anime has I believe 26 episodes.

Most of the differences have just been cuts, which haven't been explained yet. A major cut is hinting at a possible anime original ending, which would suck. Especially with how popular the series has become, they could easily animate the rest of it if they don't mess up with how the sales have been.

During the Mikasa flashback her mother didn't leave her embroidery skills as a sign of her heritage. She left her a tattoo on her arm, 844, the symbol of their clan. There's some fanart that includes the number on pixiv and places so if you'd seen that and were confused this should explain it.
