I was so jBACONBACONBACONed about it (really, even a respectable genre of music gets the baconization?) that I even took a picture. ;D It was only possible for me by switching from holding the PSP normally for most of the song to holding it down on a table and stabbing away with my index finger, once the high speed section kicked in.

I won't be at Anime Expo, but I WILL be at PAX Prime. Will you guys be attending?

I'm guessing the game Ken mentioned to Siliconera will be announced here? You guys don't have anything announced except SC which is probably still around a year away.

For me personally, I think almost every PSP game I'd be interested in would be out of reach, or is a Falcom game. I'd love to be wrong though.

I would imagine they're going to have a panel at AX with a lot of announcements and the like.

Noooo, no panel. Just a booth. AX isn't really our time to announce things -- just our time to meet and greet you guys, and sell you cool stuff. We MIGHT have something to announce by then, but the majority of the games we're working on (and yes, we're working on quite a few right now!) are still in the video game equivalent of preproduction -- we've gotten the ball rolling, but only JUST, and have no real insight yet into when we can expect them to get released, how much they'll cost, what format they'll be on, or even (in some cases) IF they'll get released (since until a certain point in any localization process, there's always that risk of some other company sneaking in a higher bid and yanking the game away from us, or some catastrophic failure somewhere making it absolutely impossible for us to proceed on schedule).

That's why we haven't announced anything yet. But as soon as we pass that "sweet spot" in the localization process for at least one of these games -- that point where the license has been secured 100%, translation is well underway, programming is mostly done and everything seems to be running smoothly -- we'll shower you guys with lots of unexpected (but extremely welcome) game announcements.

Short version: Good things, they are a-comin'!

I'll be looking forward to whatever games you bring over. If Sega doesn't localize Valkyria Chronicles 3, could you guys do it? I also wish I could be there to meet you guys. I live on the opposite side of the country. I've never been to an anime convention. . .

You haven't? They're pretty fun! You should check to see if there are any anime conventions local to you, as there probably will be at least one (there are hundreds, possibly thousands of anime conventions held in the U.S. each year, in virtually every nook and cranny of the country!).

Only one's got us, but still... anime conventions are lots of fun, even if we cannot grace them with our presence.

I was actually planing on canceling my tickets to AX, but given other engagements emerging there, and now XSEED, I might go a day or two.

Is XSEED planning on going to any cons focusing more on exhibition and publicity, with a large gaming presence, like Comicon?

Probably not... but you never know. We go where the winds call us.
