I've been tempted to sell my copies of Vagrant Story and Valkyrie Profile in the past, but I never did. Those games are just too awesome.

I think my most expensive single game was Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record 0081. That was like $80-ish plus shipping, but that was standard for a new PS3 game. I tended to shop for deals for all of my old stuff. Now, the most I've ever spent on one gaming thing is either my imported Sakura Wars collection (1-4), Growlanser collection (1-3), or Super Robot Wars Alpha collection (A1, AG, and A2). I just can't recall which was more. I *think* Sakura Wars was more than either of the others, but I got it years ago so I can't be sure.

Either way, all three of them were more than my Langrisser collection.

I'm not a big fan of digital copies so I'm glad to have my hard-copy...However, if I didn't have a physical copy I'd rather have a digital Grandia than no Grandia at all. While Grandia is a fun game, I think the second one is far superior.

The worst part is, I still don't even have HALF the DLC of the games. D: I really hate this gen sometimes, with its endless stream of unfinished games and DLC. But here I am, still buying them like a sucker! :P

I'm not a fan of digital distribution (ie. renting) myself, but storage space and future travelling plans make wanting to keep physical copies a little tough.
And I was a bigger fan of 2 myself! G1 really did a good job of holding me over 'til 2 came out though. If I didn't have G1, I'd have gone crazy, lol. I really do love both of them.
If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

Still....i haven't seen any DLC that costs so much here...or at least on the US Marketplace for 360/PS3.

Things generally cost more in Japan, which is probably a large contributing factor. On top of that, it's a Namco Bandai publication, and they've become somewhat notorious for releasing large amounts of expensive DLC. If I started buying the DLC for Vesperia, I'd probably start seeing similar numbers.

Pretty much nothing but junk on Japan's too; as far as I know the only difference is the addition of a bunch of costumes.

Roughly $250.00 on Panzer Dragoon Saga but it was a gift for my best friend, I still have the copy I bought a few days after it came out.

I think mine would be Tales of Symphonia + GameCube. I forgot how much I got the GC for though. It was new and store-bought though. I believe I got it shortly after or before the game came out. ^^

DJ Max Portable 3 Limited Edition. I spent 145 dollars to get the item shipped, and had to pay 20 dollars due to the taxes. 165 dollars for the biggest disappointment in my life. I won nothing from the raffle, the game is the worst DJ Max game to date, and I couldn't continue playing it after about 5 hours.

Sorry Pentavision, I'm not buying the next game.
