I finished it quite a while ago, can't remember exactly when. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good game, I'll agree the reason for the world going to crap was not as good as it could have been, but overall I enjoyed the story and how it got across the ideas of loneliness and the yearning for companionship. The memories were especially good and one of the best parts of the game IMO. As for the combat I can see how people would have a problem with it and at times it was frustrating but overall I didn't really mind it too much. So yeah it was a good game and if I actually owned a Wii it would be one of the like five games I would want to buy for it. And before you ask I borrowed a friends Wii to play it and No More Heroes 2 so that's how I played it without a Wii.

Yeah, I must say the reason for the apocalypse was... NOT what I was expecting and left me with a "ohh... really? That's... it?"

I agree the reason for the Apocalypse wasn't the best, but by that point I was so in love with the game I didn't care about no damn reasons anymore. Sure, it could have been even better, but it was already so unique I couldn't be disappointed by it.

It sort of like when there is some cute girl you have a crush on and you don't get fazed when she does something really stupid, but instead you just go "oh you!". Of course I'm talking about a really unique cute girl here, not just some broad.

Haven't played yet, but I just ordered the game from the Xseed shop. Seriously, I've never seen this game physically in any store.

I think it had a pretty low print (and only one widely-distributed print) and I think stores only got in a few copies. It had some parts that bugged me, but overall enjoyable Let us know what you think of it when you get it!

Just beat this thang. I have a weakness for exploration games with flashlights lol so this really hit the spot. I have to admit, I purchased this game with Fallout in mind, but I was just as satisfied. Honestly the game could have certainly used some better exploration elements, its rather dreary being in corridors 95% of the game. Not that the game lacked any exploration, just more outdoors that doesn't involve a theme park :P . Also more locations would have been nice, I felt that the locales were all too similar and oddly my favorite location was the hotel, which had the most free exploration and was something I recognized more than cold, dungeony underground locations. This being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I cried when PF died, crow died, and when Sai Vanished into nothingness. Seriously, 10 hour game and I cried three times. I'm an adult sitting here crying in front of my Wii, which I feel means the game invoked some serious significance in me. I would love to see a sequel (with better combat(mainly the addition of a targeting system)) some time in the future. Also, they could add like 30 hours onto the game

A gorgeous, but extremely slow and boring game. I gave up probably about halfway through. Tri-Crescendo should have stuck to RPGs.

Sat down alone in the dark on a Saturday morning, played the game from start to finish in one sitting.

Despite its flaws, I was hooked the whole time and I was tearing up at the end. XSEED deserves props for translating it (and for allowing dual audio). Games with atmosphere always get to me.
