I'm not sure at all, but i think a remake of Lunar 2 would be more likely seeing as Lunar Silver Star Harmony did well (i think?).

Without Studio Alex, you're better off not hoping for it. It'd be a pale shadow of Lunar, much like Dragon Song was.


The team that created TSS and EB were dissolved. The Sega Saturn side-story game 'Magical School Lunar' was their last game.

To me the last Lunar game is Lunar 2 (I hate Dragon Song). Game Arts has Lunar rights?

Yes, GA still own the rights to Lunar. Mostly so they can farm it out, sadly.

I've wanted for years to see a Lunar 3 that had you play as "young" Dyne, become a Dragon Master, get the 4 Heroes together, go off on their early adventures, and inevitably lead up to the events that tied into Lunar SSS. Sadly I know this will never happen, but one can still dream...

I always thought that would be pretty interesting personally. The introduction of the PSP Lunar port certainly didn't lessen that desire any on my part.

That seems like the safest choice for a Lunar 3 game, especially when it wouldn't require as much work as building a completely new story, new characters, etc...

I have a rare japanesse Lunar comic book that has the verry begining and Ghalon when he was young
