    Pet Peeves

Come! Let us deepen our bonds by sharing tales of rage and anger!

I actually have a long list but I'll keep things to a minimum here. :P

Here are some of the biggest offenders:

    • Imagine a road with no white dotted lines to separate the passing lane from the right/slow/inner lane. Also imagine that's wide enough for two cars to be travelling side by side on it. Now envision a damn car taking up the entire road by being smack in the middle.

      >_<####

Yeah, there's no obligation for the driver to move near the curb or toward the median but come on, courtesy would suggest that you don't block the 10 or so cars behind you. >_> Let them pass, for BACON's sake! (And no, there are no cyclists or people to evade.)
    • The inability to differentiate between it's and its. Seriously, people, it's super simple! :O (For the record, I make the slip now and then. Well, it's that or the iPod touch's brilliant autocorrect feature which instantly takes every instance of "its" and makes it "it's". 9___9)
    • Snarky, rude, tactless people. Treat others the way you want to be treated, yeah?
    • Shopping centers during Christmas season. Too many people & too many stupid drivers stopping all over the place without regard or care for the drivers behind them.

If I must be perfectly honest, spirituality of any kind.

    Bad grammar.

    Proselytizers.

    Politicians.

    Lobbyists.

Anyone who treats animals with anything less than complete respect.

Anime/video game fans who think anything from Japan is automatically better than anything from Europe or America.

    "Feel-good" stories.

Yes. Yes, I do. It is the bane of all that is good and right in the world. Especially Hatsune Miku. *shudders*

Hmm... people who can't keep to a time schedule they've set themselves, people who can't clean up, kids who are too loud and don't remain seated on a moving bus... yeah, they mostly revolve around people... I guess that makes people my pet peeve?

Being ignored, being interrupted, tapping, and just general constant noisiness for me.

Well, i'll be the first to admit that i share this exact sentiment, i always strive to treat people, both online and off, the same way i would like to be treated yet there are times where i get into a heated discussion or debate and i simply forget everything about treating others the same way i want to be treated and the inner demon in me makes an appearance.

I struggle with it sometimes, it hasn't gotten to the point where i've done permanent damage, but i fear one day, it might when i seriously irk someone off

If i could, i'ld simply hibernate inside my home from the beginning of December until mid January

The first one would be a friend of mine, his ALWAYS sleeping past schedules his set, i'm actually quite amazed his about to graduate from collage and hasn't slept past all his classes.

People who can't clean up after themselves i assume you meant? If so, thats just about everyone. Just because your in a restaurant and there's a waiter/waitress that cleans the table doesn't mean that you have to go out of your way to leave it as messy as humanly possible. The world isn't your own personal trash can, thats why trash cans exist, to dump garbage in them.

As for kids? lets not go there, i don't hate kids...but, well...better not go there

Oops, i suppose i should post one of my own xD

One of mine lately is people that spam me IMs repeatedly, just because you repeatedly spam my message window won't mean i'll reply any faster, if anything, i'll take LONGER to answer just on purpose, or simply log off.

One thing that has consistently bothered me for years is people who, while in any situation which involves sitting and waiting (clinic, airport, etc.) decide that their time is best spent serial calling every person in their cell phone's address book. Now, I have no problem if you really need to make a call or two, but after two hours of listening to you talk (often very loudly), I begin to suspect your phone use is just a stealthy way of saying "I did not plan ahead and bring a book or my laptop." Again, if you really need to make a call, go for it, but don't expect everyone sitting around you to be enthralled by your conversations for hours on end, especially when you repeat the same topics with every person to whom you are speaking.
If a chicken does not break its egg's shell, it will die without being born. We are the chick. The world is our egg. If we do not break the world's shell, we will die without truly being born. Smash the world's shell! For the revolution of the world!
