Shows and movies you can't stand!

We need more rant threads around here as there are too many favourite this and thats and too much focus on praising XSEED.

    We need ANGER AND RAGE!

    We need HATRED!!

    We need BACONBACONBACONBACONBACONBACONBACONBACONBACONBACON !!!

(Well, everything in moderation. People shouldn't actually go off on one another. ^^;)

    Anyway, topic!

My pick for this would be the Star Wars Episodes I & II. I can't say anything about III since after the first two, I just stayed as far away as I could from the conclusion of that trilogy.

Sad thing is that I PAID to see II. It was on a weekend too so I was paying full price for the ticket! I still recall how I sat there in the theater reeling from the poor acting and script.

Ergh. George Lucas needs to have nothing to do with scripts or screenplays EVER.

As for rage-inducing TV shows, I have nothing that comes to mind since I hardly watch TV. ^^

Star Wars: The clone wars, Bakugan, Hanna Montana(I hate this one, really), The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air(It's still runing in Spain, at first it was funny but after 10 years they're still runing the series) and some spanish series that are a bad copy of USA series.

    Ugh, Glee.

I've seen PSA's that are less preachy, more subtle and better written.

Anything by David Lynch, excluding the first season of Twin Peaks.

    This.

Also, I hate the butchering of old cartoons as well as most - if not all - of the new cartoons. What's considered acceptable has gotten way too strict.

This, a million times over. When I hang out with some buddies, one of them always tries to subject us to that trash. I always end up leaving early 'cause of it. :P

Seeing as I don't watch TV outside of crime dramas and news though, 'Reality' TV pretty much makes up the list of shows I can say I hate.

As far as movies go, I have pretty much disliked certain American adaptations of foreign movies. The prime example I can think of is "My Sassy Girl". It's one of my favorite Korean flicks, and watching the American remake kinda pissed me off. :l

If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

I liked the first season of Glee. It had a (pardon the pun) gleefully nasty sense of dark humor about it, particularly in the first thirteen episodes, when they had no idea if the series would be picked up. But afterwards, particularly in the second season, it got unbearably smarmy. Some of the songs are still okay, though.

Oh, cooking shows, gardening shows and house-buying/renovation shows. So frickin' boring, yet my wife will watch that bacon until the cows come home.

I have a depressingly high tolerance for terrible TV. I mean, I watched both seasons of Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, for God's sake. But there is one thing I can't stand: lawyer shows which don't even bother to get basic details right and still portray themselves as serious. I can excuse it in the case of shows which are supposed to be funny, like Boston Legal. But when on Law and Order attorneys just hand their motions to judges while walking down the hall, I die a little inside.

The worst offender was some terrible Fox lawyer show years ago when one of the attorneys got kicked out of the court room during a trial, so he stayed abreast of what was going on through some listening device he had given his co-counsel and relayed orders using it. Seriously?
If a chicken does not break its egg's shell, it will die without being born. We are the chick. The world is our egg. If we do not break the world's shell, we will die without truly being born. Smash the world's shell! For the revolution of the world!
