I don't think so, That's why I ALwAYS have 2 save game for a game. One might get corrupted...the other will stay fine!

The PSP will keep progress even if the battery dies, but it'll lose it if you actually take the battery out.

Beat The Answer in P3FES after all these years, as well as Tales of Graces. Now I'm just playing through the EX Dungeon on the latter while I wait for my shiny new Tales of Xillia to come in a couple of a days.
Ah the answer. All that grinding it forced me to do, and yet that ending made me feel it was all worth it.
Anyhow, I'm playing Deadly Premonition, and Devil Summoner.
All the games I had plan to play, suddenly dropped when I decided to start up Tales of the Abyss. I never got all the way through it, and playing it again now, I don't know why. I'm lovin it!
Cloud, I'm jealous. Tales of Xillia looks so awesome. I hope Graces F sells enough to merit brining it over here.
