Currently working through the last chapter of FFXIII. I'm still undecided about the platinum. I very well could get it, but that's 40 more hours I could be putting in to another game. Hmm..
I also finished up NIER (for the first time) planning on doing a second playthrough to get some trophies, as my sister rented the game a few months ago and got most of them for the first playthrough.

I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack was excellent through and through, and the story was very good. I finished the game in 28 hours with some side quests.

Is it too ''american'' of too ''realistic''? I didn'T take Divitiny, dragon age and all those title because of that sole reason

I would say no. It's nothing like say, Skyrim or Dragon Age, but it doesn't stand very well as a level-focused JRPG. Levels are usually trumped by weapons or armor, and you don't see a lot of skill progression. You gain skills through story events not skill points or grinding. The closest thing I can compare it to in terms of gameplay is Okami minus the paintbrush and closed room battles.

EDIT- No dialogue is changed and no tracks are translated to English either. Actually, I'm pretty sure the soundtrack vocals are just sounds found in Latin.

It's a made up language loosely based on Gaelic, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, English and Japanese.

I personally think Nier's the best game of the main consoles this generation so my opinion's obviously a bit biased on the subject, but the game excels in a couple areas:

+ Soundtrack. Best soundtrack of the year (and then some) with not a single whiff.

+ Phenomenal characterization with some truly unique characters. I'm not usually too big on dubs, but this one nailed it on all fronts.

+ A large number of gameplay styles are represented, but none of them linger long enough to be annoying if they aren't to your liking.

+ Mature plot. I'm not one of those video games need to grow up folks, but there's a big difference between what goes on here and what goes on in most games, JRPGs in particular. It still feels like a JRPG though.

+ One of the best postgame games around.

+ A fair amount of nonlinearity, though the game's short enough that it's not terribly obvious.

    There are a few minuses:

    - Graphics are pretty basic.

    - The gameplay system is pretty simple as well with really just a lot of different ways to attack with two buttons. I enjoyed it but if you're a combo fiend, it won't impress you at all.

    - Fishing, farming. They are optional...unless you're a completionist. >:|

Lol, a lot of those pluses sound like how I'd talk about Yakuza 4 right now.

Anyways, have Akiyama and Kiryu's subquests finished. Working on Saejima, and then Tanimura before finishing things up. I don't know if I'll go for many more trophies, but there are a lot of simple ones I still plan to grab.
