    Don't worry. Even though they share some characters, the story is a completely alternate universe. You may miss some small references and you won't have that kind of nostalgic feeling for the music from the original VN, but you'll really won't miss a thing. Actually, I think it would be pretty interesting to play the VN for first time after F/E.
