It's changeable in the options. You can even set it upside-down. XD
TATE is commonly used for vertical shmups. Makes the screen bigger and clearer. Looks better on a 4:3 monitor though IMO (cuts off the extra top and bottom borders).

Xenoblade: 104 hours. Yep, this game's officially long. Anyway, it's major sidequest time so I may be a few more hours to get back on track. -_- I just realized I inadvertently gimped a character by not giving the character a 20% boost to damage skill link. This has, of course, been rectified, and now said character is even more ridiculously powerful.
Just finished off my 60th quest in Kingdoms of Amalur about 20 hours game time and I've got 500k gold. Having loads of fun swapping specs and getting epic gear!

Finished Lilly's route in Katawa Shoujo! :> 2/5 done, now.
Picked back up TitS the other day, probably about mid-way through the final chapter. Wish SC was coming out soon so I could pick it up right after I finish FC.
How is it? I've played the demo and found it enjoyable, and I definitely plan on getting it eventually, but right now I think I'm gonna wait and see if it gets re-released with all the DLC on-disc.
