I say it is, but I am a biased Suda fan. Just keep in mind that Suda games are very stylized, and do some things outside of the norm, for action games/third-person shooters.
I guess it depends on what you're looking for (The common third person shooter, or something that likes to change it up a bit once you hit certain chapters of the game).
If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

I just finished Emi's route in Katawa Shoujo yesterday. It was really heartwarming.

Played Tales of Graces for the first time in over a week, and I'm apparently about to go fight the "real final boss" immediately after the fake final boss. I still don't believe this is actually the end of the game, but we'll see...

I played the HD version of Devil May Cry at a friend's last night, and it kinda feels like they toned down the difficulty. I remember having a lot of trouble with the puppet enemies at the beginning of the game, but they didn't give me any trouble in the PS3 version (and I played the game on easy difficulty when I played it years ago, while last night I played on normal). Maybe I just magically got better at it? Even though I haven't played it for years...

I hope that the hardest difficulty in DMC Hd collection isn't so hard. Wouldn't mind getting the platinum! Trying to platinum mass effect 3 (only got the insanity trophies left to get)

Three nights running now I've had the most unusually disturbing dream,
where I'm a 19th century french painter with a pallet and paint brush and beret and an ill fitting black suit
where I'm painting perfectly rectangular white lines on an endless snaking desert where people are yelling at me
    "You missed a spot"

Well, the Devil May Cry games are notorious for the difficulty, so... Good luck with that!

I remember hearing that everything can kill you in one hit on the highest difficulty (Dante Must Die mode).

No, that's Heaven or Hell difficulty. Everything including yourself has 1hp. In Dante Must Die, enemies go into devil trigger after 30 seconds making them really annoying to kill.

Ah, ok. So I was partially right, I guess. Didn't know there was a mode above Dante Must Die. That's actually a really cool concept, having both you and enemies needing one hit to die. Do the bosses even take just one hit, or do they still have health bars?
