I'm glad I could be of any assistance, I'm pleased to share the JRPG love everywhere.

I should probably also say I am not a fan of "cute girls doing cute things" which is what most of the Gust/CH games boil down to. Qoga I just said a big NO to because of the flagrant fanservice in combat. I didn't like the innuendos in 1 and 2 and much preferred the actual character interactions not being interrupted with "P-P-Put it in gently!"
I was tempted by Rorona but I already have recettear and Star Ocean 2 so ┐('~`;)┌
That and Totori was already out and had minor improvements and I think they're about to release the third Atelier PS3 title already.
Since Ar Tonelico and Vesperia have been my PS3 priorities right now, I haven't even scratched the surface on the first game yet. :'(
But this is still pretty good news, and hopefully it makes its way over.
I personally didn't like the first one at all. I played it for about 15 hours and then I just couldn't take it anymore. The localization was amazing, I laughed so many times during the cut scenes, Enjoyed the art, and loved the concept. I just couldn't get past the gameplay and terrible music ( except for maybe 3 tracks) and poor pacing. Having to randomly go back and forth to the different planets in order to finish ONE planet...was a bit annoying.
I would much rather NISA release Atelier Totori, whenever that may be. I loved Rorona when that came out, and haven't been a fan of Ar Tonelico Qoga yet, so I'm hoping for Totori to sale me well. But assuming NISA released Neptune Mk-II, I will sadly....probably buy it, because I am a major impulse buyer when it comes to rpgs, even more so when it's a premium edition with extra goodies. I just hope for my sake ( And my wallets) That it'll be good for me.

I couldn't even play Rorona, and I bought Totori after hearing the improvements...nope. I couldn't. I guess the games were too boring for me, even with the "gorgeous" art styles. Yes, I liked the traditional Atelier titles, such as Annie and Lise, but...I couldn't get into the Arland series.
Neptune MK-II, on other hand, I took one look at White Heart supposed sisters and I fell in love. That is what is motivating me right now to get the sequel...and like I said before, the first game wasn't half bad.
Btw, there has been a bit more news regarding the game: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/04/14...neptunia-mk-2/
