If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

The story in 13-2 is a llittle questionable but so are most rpgs these days. The gameplay was great and Caius is the best bad guy I've seen in a long time! (the music was so good too) I played it on the 360 but I sold it before we got broadband. Now I have broadband I'm looking at getting it again for all the DLC and stuff.
Valkyria Chronicles 2 was so good. Is 1 as good?
Disgaea 3 and 4 are going for less than 10 euro in my local gamestop so I'll definitely pick them up!![]()

Three nights running now I've had the most unusually disturbing dream,

where I'm painting perfectly rectangular white lines on an endless snaking desert where people are yelling at me

Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best rpgs available for the PS3. Most people prefer it to 2, so if you liked that, you should at the very least like the first game.
Currently Playing: Fire Emblem: Awakening, Digimon Adventure, Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed
Games Beaten in 2013: 8: Retro Game Challenge, Corpse Party 2U, Code of Princess, Dark Souls, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Atelier Meruru, Yakuza: Dead Souls, Liberation Maiden
In some aspects VC1 is better (story, area maps, graphics), in other aspects VC2 is (character depth, gameplay depth).
There's no reason to not have both.![]()

I guess it really depends on what you liked about VC2. I haven't played the 2nd game myself, but I know that the major complaints about it are because it's on a smaller scale than VC1. From what I've heard, VC2 has much more grinding (the first game has little to none), smaller unit sizes, and a weaker story.

Haha, no. You'd have to play through the game a good 3-4 times to get 200 hours out of it. It took me about 50-60 hours to finish, and I didn't do everything, but it definitely does not have 200 hours' worth of content in one playthrough.
