I'm an avid FPS gamer and I would never tag Rage as average. All the people I know that tried it or own the game thought it was great, dunno where you came up with your evaluation.

I could stand a little more narrative, but the gunplay is pretty incredible in my opinion, and I love all of the cool little gadgets. I think I cleared most of the first mission area with just wingsticks lol

Picked up RAGE for $18, and Alpha Protocol and Mind Jack for $10 each this weekend.

Didn't open Mind Jack based on what I read on the net about it (almost nothing good being said about it by anyone, I'll be returning it), but did open and play Alpha Protocol for a bit. It's pretty... blah overall, I regret my purchase and that'll be traded into EB Games in short order. RAGE is a very fun game though, I actually went in with very low expectations, and so far it's really surprised me.

It could be that I played it immediately after RAGE, but it just felt... flat? I don't know how to describe it, it just didn't click with me. I can certainly see why some folks may like it though.

Most of the people i've run into have said that i wasted $30 (what i paid for mine), but i don't really give a crap, i played the demo, loved what i played and i'm sure i'll like the full product enough, if not more then i expect to.

Part of me wants to hold off starting Graces, since I already played it on Wii. But on the other hand, I know I can blast through Tales games fast. Ahhh too many to play, so little time! XD
