I would think they're working on it though. However, it's kind of strange that something wasn't put in place beforehand? Or maybe there IS some sort of deterrent but it's just not working?? :|

We did try stuff. We turned the captcha on for everything (including posting) which didn't work. Since everyone was annoyed at having to verify each post, we undid that and used a better captcha thingy for registration. That seemed to work for a little bit (or at least minimized the amount of spammers), but now they're coming back in force. *sigh* I hate spammers. I mean, who even clicks that stuff??? It's pointless, mindless digital graffiti. We might have to start verifying each and every registration now which is annoying for members and moderators. I'll try adding one of those question-thingies first that's supposed to thwart them and see how that goes. >_<
