Here's how I'd rank them:
1. III TG-16
2. IV PC Engine
3. II TG-16
4. Seven
5. Oath
6. I TG-16
7. Origin
8. Ark
9. V
I wasn't a huge fan of a lot of the arrangements on Oath, which is why for me, it ranked so far below III on the TG-16 in spite of the composition being the same.
Man, don't make me choose!
Ys III/Felghana has the most nostalgia value for me, so that would probably take my #1 spot. After that... man... Dawn of Ys, Ys Seven, Ys I and Ys II are all in the running for second. And the others are all VERY close behind them.
Ys V would get last place. That's pretty much the only thing I can say for sure.

1&2 = Oath > Origin = Napishtim = Seven > Wanderers > MotS >>>>>>>>>> 5
It's very close.
I still haven't gotten to Dawn of Ys. I definitely will before Celceta hits though (or right after I finish Celceta).

II, III/Felghana and The Dawn of Ys have the best soundtracks. Can't wait for the new incarnations of Ys IV's music.
