    Kirby Anniversary's Preorder?

I hope I'm not the only one confused about this... Anyone else surprised that this game, with a Sept 16th release date, is NOT available for preorder yet? Well, except for Gamestop. Newegg has de-listed it, and Amazon only has 3rd party copies of the Japanese one for sale. Just over a month until release, and I find this odd, especially cause nothing stated that it would be a Gamestop exclusive or anything...

I remember being able to preorder my Mario All-Stars copy pretty far in advanced, and because of how popular that was, I hope this won't be a crazy hard to find seller too!

Anyone have any ideas why nowhere else is listed it?

Limited print will be very limited, from what it seems. NOA doesn't want to spend any more money with the Wii.

Wow, so you think they are only offering a few week window to get the preorder in? I was worried before, and thought I had already missed out entirely >_> Just funny because I know it was 2 years ago and Wii was in a different situation, but making a limited Mario, and then go "hey this is selling well! Let's reprint!!" sure did take away from the limited meaning (and probably made people that bought at a premium eBay price very angwy )

Xenoblade might run out of stock soon. I think Gamestop will still make a reprint if the game is still selling well, but Kirby's not a specific retailer-exclusive.

If they label games with "limited edition", then they should stick with being "limited". I was pissed off because they decided to reprint, I don't buy games to resell. But, if they didn't reprint Metroid Prime: Trilogy, then why should they reprint Mario All Stars?

Some people under estimated the demand, and waited out because they wanted a price drop. Same thing with the LoZ: Skyward Sword bundle, they didn't pre-order because they wanted to wait for a price drop and claimed that there will be many copies of the bundle around.

    I already pre-ordered at EBGames.ca for $39.99.

This is out next month? Nearly slipped under my radar! Thanks thread!

I assume the price is $29.99 like the Mario Collection was? Been enjoying all the love Kirby's been getting these past few of years. Can't wait to see what they have in store for him on the 3DS.

$39, actually, as it does come with more games. Well, I still ONLY see it available for pre-order in Gamestop... Looks like Walmart has it now too, though. Oh, Best Buy has it now too at $49. Hmm... Not the best options there :/

If you're not planning to sell it then why should it bother you. Obviously Mario had more demand than Metroid. Maybe they shouldn't have done it at all. My SNES version is still perfectly playable, and if someone missed out on it then, well, tough cookies, yeah?

Not a nice thing to wake up to! Conflicted despite it overall being a much better package than Mario was. Does gamestop lock in the pre-order price like other places, or will it get jacked up in the case it turns out to be $50?
