    Greetings

Hello! I don't really know what all people want to see in an introduction so I'll list anything that comes to mind.

I'm a Falcom fanboy as of late 2010. The first time I heard the SAV of Silver Will and watched some gameplay of SnK FC on PC, I knew I had to find out more about this developer and game series. Since then, I've completed a ton of games and am in the process of trying to make up for all the years of quality Falcom games that I missed since 1981.

    List of completed games:

Ys I and II on Nightmare (PSP)
    Ys III (not Felghana) (SNES)
Ys Oath in Felghana on Inferno (PSP and PC)
Ys VI Ark of Napishtim on Nightmare (PC)
    Ys Seven on Nightmare (PSP)
Ys Origin on Nightmare (PC, twice, all three playable characters Toal > Hugo > Yunica don't argue it's a fact)

LoH III Song of the Ocean (PSP)
LoH SnK FC (Nightmare) (PSP and PC)
    LoH SnK SC (Nightmare) (PC)
    LoH SnK TC (Nightmare) (PC)
    LoH AnK (Nightmare) (PSP)
LoH NnK (Hard, currently on second playthrough on Infinity) (PSP)

Games I will kill you for (or you could just tell me where to buy them):

Either version of Ys IV. Any platform is acceptable.
Any version of Ys V. Any platform is acceptable.

Games I have on preorder and am waiting for warmly:

    LoH ZnK Evolution
Ys Celceta no Jukai/Sea of Dreams (I refuse to call it Foliage Ocean that just sounds stupid)
Physical copies of any Falcom game made before 2004.

My Japanese is sub-par but I keep doing my reps with KanjiDamage, so it will be at a decent level of comprehension with time. Any of you fluent members out there that have played any of the jp only Falcom games, please do feel free to share any information about plot, characters, or anything relevant. Since I'm nowhere near fluent, I have a basic understanding of the plot of most of these games, but I miss the tiny details that make all the difference.

Currently looking for anyone who can explain to me why Nayuta no Kiseki was named this way. Aside from blatant speculation, the only connection I see is to Earth. I know nothing of any relation this has to the previous Kiseki games, and would love to discuss how it is related, if at all.

    Other useless information below:

    MFC page: http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/awildseaking
YouTube page because I like to viral market for myself and the nonexistent viewership that I have: http://www.youtube.com/user/awildseaking/videos

I'm on tohno-chan for the summer because filtering 90% of a thread can get to me. Usually browsing /foe/ and /vg/.

I play a lot of Battlefield 2, as well as DoW II. I don't stick with any one game for weeks on end, so I shuffle around a lot, but those are the two games taking up the majority of time when I'm not playing any Falcom games.

I have no idea what the moderation here is like, but I openly support self-moderation. Don't be that idiot that responds to other idiots. Don't even think about replying to them. Let their stupidity remain isolated and continue to contribute to valid discussions. There will almost never be a problem if you follow this online common sense.

Thanks for reading. I look forward to finally having a place to discuss jp only Falcom games. I really couldn't care for the other games XSeed translates, but I love the general philosophy of opening the Western market to niche jp only games. I hate hearing about how abysmal the video game market is with yearly Call of Duty releases only to see that these pessimists never tried jp only games because of the language barriers. More video games for everyone is always a good idea.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay here with more Falcom!

Others who have played all the games you listed and can understand kanji as well are omgfloofy and Sapphire_Eyes.

Though, would you still buy any Falcom games XSEED translates in the future?

I throw money at them with the hopes that it will work more in the future. I have multiple versions of most of the games, one being download/jp release and the other being XSeed re-releases. I met Tom once at AX and that's when I was fully convinced this company was worth throwing money at.

You did? Awesome, yeah, Tom is awesome. Wish I could meet him in person as well. But sadly, I live in Singapore and am looking to get the Chinese PC versions of SnK which are currently being sold in my local store. (I can understand Mandarin).

Urgh, sometimes I wish that Chinese company could jump on the PSP versions of SnK and Zero/Ao....but sadly it looks like China hates any sort of consoles..

I haven't been around for a while but it looks like I came back just in time to give you a warm welcome. So welcome and unless something has changed in my absence the moderation on here is really good, other then certain topics, we are all pretty friendly here so a lot of moderation never really seemed needed.

Welcome to the xseed forums. I apologise for the correction but, falcom got rid of the LoH moniker on Nayuta.

    It's actually two facts.

    I'll be here all week.

Welcome to the forums, though. As others have stated, I'm sure you'll fit well here, as nearly everyone here seems to like Falcom.
