September's getting a bit too close with no announcement in sight. My bet is November at the earliest, possibly going as far as January 2013.

Yeah, putting SC without FC on steam would pretty much sour almost everyone that is PSP-less.FC is an inevitability is SC does come out here on PC.

    I've watched XSEEDs announcements closely.
They come up with a release date pretty late and since there is no other game or maybe one in the row, Q4 is very likely for a TitS Steam release.

I guess all eyes are on Last Story now but some weeks after its release they might come up with a release date for FC on Steam.

My bet: Release will be announced one month before. Release date mid November :]
Oktober is Persona 4 time. Also X-Mas sales could boost and increase the fanbase extremely.

Have you seen the hype Ghostlight's idea had received? The idea bringing JRPGs for PC? (Ghostlight is an European Publisher)
I hope and wish XSEED does extremely well being the first. I will spread the word everywhere :]

Please not steam... vita but not steam. Putting and handheld game on a PC will surely throw me off. If it's on PC. I'll probably never play it. I really don'T care for PC.

Oh why has the PSP died! (Because of sony) otherwise there would be no problem to release the second and third parts...
Games finished in 2013 : Thearythm FF - Pokémon B2 - Tales of Graces F - Miles Edgeworth Investigations - Fire Emblem Awakening - Spirit Camera - Hakuoki - FFVIII - Ar Tonelico II - Riviera
    Okamiden - Rhythm Thief
Now Playing : Pandora's tower - Bioshock - Hotel Dusk

Still looking for Kid Icarus Cards! If you got any that you don't want anymore, they'll get some awsome love!
(Thank you Terro (biiiig thanks!), Dusty and Ivy :-)

it IS a PC game and WAS ported afterwards. Sorry for destroying your point of view

PS Vita as a digital-download, Falcom should do that.

Well, games can't always get released on platforms we prefer for reasons unique to each game (edit: it's like half my edit went through before, weird). To be honest I don't really like handhelds, I don't take advantage of their portability so it just feels like a gimped experience when I'm sitting there playing on the tiny screen with controls less comfortable than a standard controller while I have consoles/PC and a TV sitting right beside me.

But writing off a good game because of the platform it's on isn't really the fault of the platform or the game, especially when you already own the platform necessary to play the game.

I guess Falcom has hinted at a Vita-compatible version of SC, but given their timetable it would probably be further out than SC on Steam unless SC is further away than we'd imagine (2014ish).

Yeah, Conure, all of the Trails games started life as PC titles. The PSP versions are the ports, so it wouldn't really be "putting a handheld game on PC." It would be more like, "releasing the original game, the way it was meant to be played."

And since no Trails games prior to Zero no Kiseki exist on Vita, I think you should prepare yourself for the extremely high probability that the game will be released on PC. It may be our only choice.

I know you don't care for PC, but... well, I didn't either, until I started playing Falcom games on my computer. It's really not a bad platform for gaming at all, though, and I think if you gave it a shot, you'd find no real problems with it at all. Give Ys Origin a try sometime, and I guarantee you'll change your mind about PC gaming!

I can say that I never played games on my PC until this past Steam sale when I was able to get Ys Origin and Oath thanks to Chaosblade. Since then, I've actually played on my PC more than I have played my PSP and my Vita combined.

I wouldn't mind it's on the PC. As long as it's in English I'm fine with it. I hope it'll be on steam!
