Ys Origin - Unlocking Pikkardon?

Does anyone know the requirements to unlock Pikkardon?

From reading around at various forums online, it looks as though you have to clear the game with all 3 characters on Nightmare. Can anyone confirm this?

it's unlocked in the arena mode, you unlock each floor, "arena mode 2" "arena mode 3" or...eum...something like that i forgot, it's the 7th rank for pikkardon

Pikkardon is in Arena Mode, but I'm fairly certain you unlock it through the main game.

I know of two 'secret' unlockables. If I remember right, one of them is from beating Nightmare with all characters, the other's from beating the game with all EX characters. I don't know if the EX characters count for the first. And I could be completely wrong, as I haven't unlocked either, so take that into account as well.

well I did beat the game with all 3 characters on nightmare mode before i even took a visit to the bonus modes

Right, Yunica's schoolgirl outfit is unlocked by clearing the game with all 3 characters' EX mode versions. I'm working on a Toal Nightmare playthrough right now, but it'll probably take me quite a long time to get through all three, and was hoping someone knew 100% that it was beating the game in Nightmare with all 3. From what Olivier is saying, then that pretty much confirms it. Also, from reading around, it seems that Nightmare playthroughs ON EX Mode does count, so hooray for that!

Pikkardon's stage appears in the Bonus Shop after beating the game with all 3 characters on Nightmare OR beating it with all 3 characters on all other difficulties (EXCEPT Nightmare).
