I do believe that honor goes to "Fukt".

Yeah, that. Though Falcom's Engrish is always at it's finest.

I'unno man sometimes their Engrish is legitimately pretty good, if a little awkward-sounding. This mostly applies to sentences/paragraphs and such, though.

I've always been pronouncing them as "Sky-es" and "Kruk-shee". D:
If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

Falcom has had some funny Engrish incidents on their twitter before. Probably their Facebook too, but I can't think of any.

Then one day, I just blurted out, "What about Cruxie, with an X?" And both Jess and Doh (the game's translator) were like, yeah, that's not bad! So a few find-and-replaces later, Cruxie's new name was a go!

We figured people would mispronounce it, but it's a cool name even if you DO pronounce it the way it's spelled, so we were like, meh, that's fine!
Glad you did. 'Crushe' isn't bad, but it sounds too much like someone tried to make her name relate to her weapon class (of 'big smashy things').

Random note: I'm going through the game last night and I saw that Geis had a skill called 'Flashlance'. The first thing I thought of was you and Jess cheering.

Cruck-see. Like 'Trixie' or 'Roxie', but with the awesome word 'Crux' in it instead.

I always figured Scias was "sigh-us", but Cruxie I always thought was "crew-she-eh". "Eh" as in the Canadian 'eh', that is Although I guess it was always more closer to a "crew-she" but either way, not correct.

That would more be something I'd cheer at than Jess. Jess is anti-pun most of the time.

In this particular case, however, I can't take credit. That was either completely accurate to the Japanese, or was a joke inserted by Doh, the game's translator. And I'm willing to bet it's the former, as "Flash Lance" sounds like an unintentional pun you'd encounter pretty readily in a Japanese RPG.
