I mentioned in another thread that I would probably open another topic specifically to this book. There is a TON of information in this book that was revealed in Zero and Ao no Kiseki, and even supplementary information to go along with it- stuff that hasn't been in the games at all.
The big thing is, I know that there are people on here who ARE familiar with the trilogy as a whole.
So here's what I'll do. There's so much info that I just can't post it all in one post. I may find particular key things people might be interested in, but the big part is this will be driven by what people want to know.
This book DOES have key information from Zero and Ao no Kiseki, so this thread will likely contain spoilers for all five games.
I will give the setup of the book, and allow people to ask questions about what they want to see or know, as a means to start.
The first half of the book are the scenarios for Zero and Ao no Kiseki. They aren't the scripts per say, but they're a detailed recount of the games. On the margins are annotations of key terms and or past incidents.
For example:
When D.G is first brought up in Zero no Kiseki... during that section of the Zero scenario, there's a 'keyword' in the margin for D.G --then just below it, another keyword in the margin over the incident where multiple organizations came together to get rid of the lodges.
Both of these keyword sections are short blurbs. There are also 'Character' blurbs that come up. If a character shows up anywhere in Zero and Ao as a relatively important character, the book will then refer you to the back half.
The back half is the Character section. If a character has any important role of any sort in Zero and Ao no Kiseki (face icons), then they will be included in this section. Each character has a profile, but what's in the profile is different depending on them.
Best part is that if they were important to Zero/Ao, Sora characters are in this section, too.
This goes from Estelle and Joshua, to even Klose, Olivier, Mueller, Kevin, and Ries. I'm also sure that Lechter and Kilika are in it. (On check: yes. they are.)
Example:
Lloyd Bannings (voice actor: Tetsuya Kakihara)
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 175cm
Blood Type: O
Birthplace: Crossbell
Hobbies: Fishing, Reading, Independent Training
Likes: Models, Orbal Stereos, and Pasta Dinners
Not all characters are as detailed as Lloyd's is above. With exception, (almost) all the female characters have their three-sizes listed. Arianrhod is not included. But seriously- would YOU really want to be the one to measure her for this??
Past THAT section of characters is a 'character glossary.' Not only are chat-icon-less NPC's in this, but so are any character that's existed in the Kiseki series that didn't show up but was mentioned. Stuff like Ein and Rufina being mentioned in Ao. They're in the glossary, too.
After that section is a list of the 'relationship scenes' from Ao no Kiseki.
But one of my favorite sections is after that: the polls. Before this book came out, a TON of user polls were made, for things like 'Favorite Character' - Favorite S-Craft. Favorite Art. Favorite scene. Favorite line... that sort of thing.
'Who is the strongest?' had a surprise in it.
And 'Who needed a face icon?' has a sketch of someone's portrait that was definitely missing in Ao no Kiseki. They sketched the face of the Duke of Remiferia in here.
So with this in mind. I guess feel free to throw questions at me about what's in the book.
Despite the fact that the article is marked for spoilers, I'll still use spoiler tags in it. If you want to use the ones I'm using, here:
< span style="color: #000000; background-color: #000000" > SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER < /span >
(without spaces at the brackets, of course.)
I will give a free spoiler, though, based on an SC villain that shows in Ao no Kiseki.
However many years since the Special Collection book, they have not changed in their 'vagueness' on Campanella's gender.
The Special Collection Book lists his gender as 'unknown.' The Crossbell Archives book lists it as 'Male?' His age is, of course, listed as 'unknown' as well.
