Hi guys ! We are proud to present you our documentary dedicated to The Last Story.

The documentary

The conception of this documentary is a gathering of a whole years of translation which was done for Mistwalker-fr.info. This work was essential to achieve a concise but well documented overview of the game and its development. The main steps of the creation were highlighted as well as its structure and gameplay. The game storyline was deliberately set aside allowing the players to find it out by themselves.

First realization of the team, this documentary illustrates perfectly the approach of Sidekick.fr: focusing on different aspects from game design to the realization and presenting the designers/creators behind the game. We try to offer a more timeless content, result of many reflections and analysis by putting ourselves on the sideline of the actuality. Other documentaries are already planned, and they will be all dubbed in French and English.

It's essentially a very classy 15-minute infomercial for the game. It covers the background of the game's development and then describes some of the gameplay features and mechanics. It doesn't spoil the story.

Thank you so much for sharing this. The video was very well done. Bravo! It was a pleasure to watch and all the info in it from the game's development to the battle system was greatly appreciated. There is so much to it. I happen to love Mistwalker(Lost Odyssey is my favorite JRPG so far this gen), and I can't wait for The Last Story to arrive in NA.

PS: I'm still sad about "Cry On". I wish it never got cancelled :[
