Gah... now I wish the 3DS version was out... I need to play with it to figure out how this is so different from say, Etrian Odyssey's low inventory limit and for cost storage system that discourages you from storing too much. So... there isn't something that allows you to store excess stuff in town?

Heh. One of my most prominent RPG habits is to sell everything that isn't nailed down. If it's not immediately apparent that I'm going to need something, I sell it -- especially if I really need the cash, which is very much the case in Unchained.

Or there's a system like Harvest Moon or Rune Factory has where you can only carry so much in your sack at one time, but you can store excess things in your home.

Here here. Sounds like my policy on most single use in battle non healing items of any game.

Let's clarify that as 50 *unique* items. I hit that mark as well, just sold my unused armors.

A bank system would be good, since there is a "synthesize" feature, you never know if you would be needing what you would sell due to the item limit later on. Better safe than sorry.

well sometime in chapter 4 you get a quest that gives you infinite storage space so once you get to that point it's not a problem

the sythesis chick is the one who manages the storehouse so you deposit stuff there

If the game'd been that way from square one, I wouldn't have taken issue. 30 hours later it's great to finally be able to dump loot without discarding/selling it, but why force difficult decisions until then (primarily in chapter 1)?
