Why would you get the system when you can just play the European version on your regular Wii? I haven't ruled out on the game yet but I suppose whether it has a chance on MAYBE coming out here depends on how Xenoblade did and Last Story does.

Modding, for any chance?

From what I've heard modding a Wii is incredibly easy and nearly impossible to mess up. Its all done through software too, no need for an extra chip or soldering to bypass security features.

That seems to be how the majority of importers played Xenoblade before the US release was announced.

Luckily for me, all my platforms are region-free, and only rarely I got a beloved game that was released in Europe but not in the US, so I've never had that kind of rage in me.
