I have no idea who Working Designs are. But Victor Entertainment is the company that actually made the HM games in Japan other than the very first, which was supposedly made by some developer called "Pack-In Video".

But Victor WAS absorbed by Marvelous into their games division.

Oh, never thought there was a company called Victor. Living and learning, I'll search for it on the internet.

Nothing is a given, but given Natsume's track record with the series in North America, betting on a localization seems like a pretty safe assumption. This thread is a little premature.

haha yeah but now they might also do Guilty Gear is Arc Systems got their rights back for that if im not mistaken. Either way Natsume actually already said they are bringing this game overseas a while ago so we just have to wait and pick it up.

Sorry about that but I kinda jumped the gun with that comment. Natsume is having a quiz thing on their twitter and they said:

Hint #3: The announcement will relate to a series…in which there are at least 3 previous entries…

Hint #4: The announcement will relate to a series…in which there are at least 3 previous entries…that Natsume published in North America

So far Rune Factory series is that one so basically everybody is guessing that and the confusing from my part was probably because I misread the article since I got excited haha.

Err, no that tease was for another Harvest Moon game. Besides that, until Hint #9 that also worked for Medarot

Bumping up this old thread for this:

    http://nintendoeverything.com/103754...source=dlvr.it

XSEED was recently asked about the possibility of localizing Rune Factory IV. The company previously brought Rune Factory Frontier to North America.

Responding to the question on its Facebook page, XSEED wrote:

“Hmmm, we’ve had an itch to work on another Rune Factory game since we loved Frontier so much, so let’s see if we can’t grab a back scratcher somehow…”

If XSEED doesn’t release Rune Factory IV in the states, maybe Natsume can. Other than that, I’m not sure about any other companies that would get involved.
    Interesting.
