You know, playing Ys Origin got me thinking, it would be awesome if it was more Metroidvania-like, with multiple areas that you revisit with new abilities and stuff. I know Oath in Felghana pretty much does this, but I love the setting in Ys Origin, with only you and the rest of a small group in this giant tower full of demons.

Maybe in an Ys Origin 2?
    Perfectly perfect as always. `'`

Oh God, not another sub-series! It's already hard enough to keep track of Dragon Slayer --> The Legend of Heroes --> Kiseki --> Nayuta no Kiseki.

I want a series of Ys spinoffs focusing on the era of the Eldeen. Like, a Genos game, or something.

I want to know more about the Ark. Ys VI hardcore needs a prequel.

Phantasy Star Online 2: CelestialBlade (Ship 02)

That's not really tied directly to that game, it's just the one that deals with it the most specifically. It's entire possible that Falcom's version of Ys 4 is going to add in some references here and there. I think there are already quite a few details out there, Floofy just hasn't finished translating that info from one of her books.

I'm moreso looking for something around the time of Alma sealing the Ark and the early days of the Eldeen. Maybe go into the history of Emelas some, why there's an ancient city buried in Canaan....there's a lot of things you could expand on there. Definitely hoping IV makes some references because the Ark is so central to Origin, Oath, and VI...

I don't really see how they could make a connection there, I'm pretty sure the events that happen in that city were referred to as being in the past in Origin, but I might not be remembering right (I didn't catch it at all in the fan translation, only in the edited one). At most, it seems like the individual might have been named after the city, or maybe it's just coincidence.

But at the same time these names were intentionally given so there is probably some sort of deeper meaning. Even if all that deeper meaning is, is to give people headaches thinking about.

    Unrelated, new phone wallpaper:

Would have been nice if I could have just found where the image is in the game files and rip it, but I don't know which data pack these images are in or what I'd need to get them open.

Uuuugh, drives me nuts XD I MUST KNOW THE CONNECTION!

Maybe Kishgal secretly likes robots and techno? It's just really interesting that there's a city with the same name as him that also connects directly to the Ark...
