Yeah they got upgraded hardcore so it became super difficult and such. I remember I was able to take down dracula with a level 96 assassin with a crit build and pretty much drop him but his card wasn't that great. The monster that gave me a lot of trouble was the Golden Thief Bug!

Those were considered easy MvPs, and I never ever got to kill one of them. Except I did, on an official, money-based server, but that doesn't count.

The newer update added even harder bosses but by that time I wasn't taking the game seriously anymore due to a falling out with people I knew and social stigmas people where placing on me. I eventually quit and moved on to other things though this game will always have a place in my heart.

The sweetest memories I have of Ragnarok Online involved adventures I had with the friends I made on the game, and that's why Ragnarok Odyssey is a worthy spin-off of the franchise.

You could probably call it an Adventure with friends and not really a solo adventure. You can probably consider it an epic adventure with friends trying to overcome hardship and trials and tribulations. The end result are awesome memories with friends that can pretty much never be forgotten if the hardship you overcame was a really big one. That is one reason I like playing with friends and taking on extremely difficult problems to see if we can overcome and celebrate together!

I've found friends, I've found lovers, I've had the greatest time of my life with the MMO. I can't think of any MMORPG that enchanted me more than RO.

Yeah I had most of those but to me the gameplay to me is what grabbed me. That and the fact that it was one of the first MMOs out there that actually started off the craze. I will never forget the day I took out my first Mastering and Angel Poring. They may have been weak and easy but that left a huge mark on me.

I wonder if they'll expand the franchise into other games for the PS Vita in the future.

I would guess it would depend on how good the series sells and how popular it has become or still is. I know if they did an updated version or released Ragnarok Online: Lots on vita kinda like what phantasy star online 2 is doing it might pick up. I can't really find any more reviews and stuff so now we wait.
