    Guess they were really misinformed.
Not missinformed, they didn't even read the Prinny Bomb (assuming that's where they got their news from) properly. It's best to go with bigger, trusted sites, I hate to say. Then again even those can have the wrong info (like all the sites claiming that The Last Story LE would have a steelcase like Europes). I guess it's best to just look at what you see and find sources to everything

Any chance of you guys posting some E3 Screenshots of the Way of the Samurai 4?
I don't think we have any E3-specific screenshots, but I'm sure impressions and interviews will be appearing on various sites very, very soon. I'll let you know as they're discovered.

Sorry you weren't able to make it, though!

I don't know about that. I'm sure Rising Star Games aren't too thrilled about this. What other games are they releasing this year anyway? I can't even access their website, but maybe it's just my connection.

NIS didn't take it from them. Rising Star cancelled, and NIS picked it up in their place.

Like I said, no one's toes were stepped on here.

Rising Star cancelled their localization? Since when and how come (know I won't get much info from this)? They deemed it unprofitable for them?

Yeah, I can't answer any of that. My point was merely that no deals were reneged upon here. We were working with Rising Star to get the game released in Europe, but things came up and interfered with those plans. We were sad to lose them as overseas partners for this release, but NIS were more than happy to jump in and pick up where they left off.

No one was at fault here -- it was pure circumstance. We wish Rising Star all the best, and as far as I'm aware at least, they wish us and NIS all the best as well.

If anything, it's great to see all the niche localizers help each other out These are iffy times right now, and it's nice to see others pick up properties when others have it fall through. There's no heavy competition like with the bigger publishers, especially when it comes to those making sports games and such, trying to create such direct competition.

And this, is why I love the smaller guys

The only bond that I know is the one XSEED has with Aksys, with that doll/something reference on both companies' games.
