Platinum War (Trophies and Achievements Discussion)

Well, thank you either way. :3 Maybe some day you can get it, or get gifted it on Steam during one of their awesome sales.

Question though, have you ever played Co-Op online before? Because, if I am reading right, one of the trophies requires you to play with someone who has NEVER played online before, I think... well, I guess you can fix that by making a temporary new PSN account, though that was probably easier when you could have five accounts on a system.

Someone who has never played "Portal 2" before, and I'd fit the bill since I don't even have the game yet. <:

On a similar note, I heard Ninja Gaiden Vita's are actually not too bad, considering it's a port of a harder (relative to Sigma 2 anyways) game. No online either, which means I'm more likely to give that Plat a shot, haha.

It seems feasible, but still VERY hard to do it. When you get a Vita, tell me how the game plays on the PS Vita, I was going to get it when I got a Vita.

The only Platinum I have is for SOCOM 4 I tried getting Platinum for Naruto Generations as well but couldn't figure out how to complete some of them.

The other games ' Platinums are kinda out of my hands...

You can always check guides, Mr. Detective. Most of the times, I'm near the trophy, I just didn't know how to do something or where to obtain another thing.

Oh, very happt to hear about that aspect of Professor Portal, Shiz. :3 I mean, I do not think that thatis good design personally, but still, it is nice to know. Now I just need to know if you get trophies if you are playing with someone using Steam (but you are using your PS3).

Also, as I mentioned in the other topic, I got my first Platinum! :3 For Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. It is not really a hard platinum at all, because most of the trophies are easy, but considering that I beat Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine the real way (without cheating), I think I earned it. X3

I would like my next platinum to be Portal 2, but I do not have a headset right now, and I do not know anyone around that would want to play (I've asked). Sadly Plants vs. Zombies does not have a Platinum trophy, which is weird; there are acheivements missing from the Steam version, I think.

Well, considering I have few PS3 games, and do not get a lot of gaming time, I guess we will have to wait and see. :3

And Dusty, congratulations for the first plat! I'm on my way to get my first Vita platinum, but those challenges on GR make me mad. Also, PvZ Vita has a platinum trophy, if you ever get that one.

Despite already owning the game, I am wanting a Vita even more now, because the Vita version of Plants vs. Zombies has a bunch more trophies (more than any version, I think), including a Plat, like you said. I love that game so much, I wish I could get a plat for it. :3

Also, I thought I heard that GR was an easy plat...

I love PvZ as well. I got the PS3 version for free because of PS+ two years ago (or was it last year?), and got the PS Vita version as soon as I bought the first games for that platform. I've got a bunch of trophies from the Vita version, but it's still far from the platinum.

GR's platinum is easy, it's just me that LOATHE those challenges. Also, I've finally redeemed myself from that 0% from Wipeout 2048 and got two new trophies from that game today. Wipeout is just like Dark Souls, they're both hard, and you'll lose a lot, but if you don't give up and learn from your mistakes, you'll end up winning.

Just got my very first PS Vita platinum trophy: Sound Shapes. Also, by loading the save data on the PS3 version, I got a double-platinum.

well, for me its a sort of a pat on the back trophy/achievment, doubt its platinum but it feels so any how :P
beating kishgal on yunica's path at guilty fire.. whew such a punk.
other then that, cant think of anything else at the moment
