Just saw this on Amazon:



I like the Japanese version with the title at the bottom more. Yea yea, I know, cant do it like that in the US cause of how some stores sort games so that only the top part is showing. But I still wonder if there isn't any other concept art from the game that would work better with the title at the top.

Well its not terrible, but It doesn't stand out at all. Its the same one they used in Japan but with the title at the top instead of the bottom:



For various reason US covers almost always are on the top of the box, and in this case it detracts from it by screwing up the positive/negative space. Your eye isn't really drawn to anything, just sort of wanders. It works the way its setup on the Japanese cover, but not the way it is on the US one.

That's actually a pretty cool cover. Reminds me of Xenoblade for some reason.

I think if you add some holographic stuff to give it some depth would be really cool for the cover kinda like the film on the cartridge for majora's mask for the N64. Or maybe something like the box art from Final Fantasy 13 the first one where its all shiny and junk.

If that doesn't make the box a lot more expensive, I vouch for this request! I absolutely loved XIII cover!

For some reason I was thinking lenticular But yeah something shiny would be REALLY nice, if the resources are there.
