    Corpse Party Book Of Shadows.

I think that the Sequal to Corpse Party, called Boom Of Shadows should be brough to America. There is 1 thing you should note.

I have no idea why Corpse Party was not given an English VA track unlike most other games. I thought it was unreasonable.

I want the next Corpse Party game called Book Of Shadows to have an English Voice Acting Track. Maybe the game can even have duel audio language options. I personally am accustomed to hearing English Voice acting. Voice work should be done for example by Bang Zoom Entertainment, using the same set of voice actors that did the other Xseed games.

Please consider my suggestion, and reply asap. thanks.

We are, of course, looking into this game... but if it comes, I can tell you right now it won't be dubbed. With the sheer amount of voice-acting present in the game -- not to mention the binaural audio effects and customized sound effects mixed in with the voice-acting -- it would just be prohibitively expensive to record, would likely not sound anywhere near as good as it does in the original Japanese, and would take up so much space that we'd be forced to cut the original Japanese audio in order to keep the download reasonably-sized (which would upset a lot more people than a lack of dubbing, I think!).

We'd love to release the game, though, dub or no dub, so keep your fingers crossed!

They didn't dub the first one, why would they dub the sequel?

So you don't have the game now. So I don't expect an announcement for it.
Oh well, hope to hear announcements for other future games I may like. Especially since Ys Origin will be released this week and Unchained some time in June.

I have to say I prefer the Japanese scream than the western ones more myself. I have this list of something.

    Spanish: Comedy
    English: War
    Japanese: Horror

I think thats what they do best but like anyone else thats just my opinion.

So that is the reason why Corpse Party wasn't dubbed in the first place?

So tom. you a member of the developement team? So the reason why Corpse Party wasn't dubbed was because of the binary audio effects and sound effects plus the sheer amount of voice acting would make an English dub very expensive, plus having both japanese and english for this game would take up so much space, that the japanese audio would have to be cut out completely?

I know some PSP JRPG games with a good amount of voice acting that was released for the PSP, such as the Disgaea Games, as well as Ygddra Union. Though in those games, not every single scene is voiced, although a good amount of scenes are voiced though. Maybe the binary audio files take up more space than the regular audio files, and raises the cost of dubs. So is that why there are no plans to dub "book Of Shadows" with english audio?

Uh...what? Tom isn't on any 'development' team, he's on a localization team.

And there's no 'development team' at XSEED at all since they're only publishers and not developers in any way.
