It's not really confirmed as anything other than an existing project. Looks like they're creating a pitch to me, Konami could still turn them down.

Kind of wonder why they went public with it so soon though, maybe to gauge public interest? Get people hyped for it so they buy the HD Collection to support the new release?

My guess is that there will be one for the 3DS. Remember that Teaser Image with the ZOE Logo and the mirrored one ?

I liked FOM myself too, great artstyle and even if maybe too much of Evangelion, quite nice story with lots of cool OF's such as Testament.

The new ZOE can't come any sooner for me. Furthermore, I hope that they will release a HD Collectors Edition in Europe/USA as well. That Cover for the Japanese Version looks very, very sexy.

I hope the same. I kinda doubt that a "true" sequel will hit the 3DS. Simply because of the pictures that they showed for the project:




The left Jehuty is not any kind of graphic or concept art - this is the model for the game itself. They'd never be able to make it look that good on a small screen such as the 3DS. Since it is still just a project, it is also possible that this game will hit the Next-Gen Consoles.

Same here. I'm getting both the PS3 and the Vita copies. Anything to persuade Konami to make more ZOE... though I'm hoping they don't make Bishounen protagonists like Square does with their protagonists. I'm always a little worried that a revival of a cherished series will be the complete opposite of what I longed for.

I thought that the Main Character of this game is supposed to be that Chick that Shinkawa drew. Maybe because it is set in ancient history, we will get to play Dingos Badass Grandfather, who makes out with some badass hot chick [Insert MGS3 Ladder Joke here.]
