hey, welcome to insanity![]()
Hey je suis français aussi! Mais du québec par contre!
(for the not french here: Hey! I'm french too! But from Quebec)
Mmmm le français du Québec et le français de France n'est pas tout à fait le même, les québecois parle le français sans doute mieux que nous ^_^'
(Mmmm French from Québec and French from France are not exactly the same, Quebecois speak French better than us ^_^')
Je me suis toujours demandé si le Québec était culturellment plus proche des français ou des anglo-saxon ? En tout cas merci pour ton accueil.
(I was wondering, culturaly speaking, Québec is closer to French or to Anglo-Saxon ? Anyway thank for your welcome. )
well that's funny you should say that because here in Quebec I'm pretty sure I hear that it's YOU in France that speak french better than us. We've come as far as making our own derivation of french we call "joual" which pretty much means a butchered way of speaking french.
Well in France we have a habit to take English words when a new thing is created while I would believe in Québec you create a new word, for exemple in France we say "shopping" because we don't have a French word for it, if I'm right in Québec there should be French word for it.
Well ya we use french words for shopping but in other everyday cases we do sometimes use an english derivation, like for throw we say "pitcher" or for smart "smat", we even sometimes say "wise" or when something is crazy "F-WORD top"
Well if you want a good idea about how we speak french in Quebec, I guess you could look for "Radio Enfer" clips on youtube, it should give you a good idea of what it shounds like.
greetings yeshua, welcome aboard![]()
