Just like with Demon's Souls, the Asian version of Ragnarok Odyssey offers multiple languages including English. Games like these are all about combat and leveling up so I guess there wasn't a lot of text that required translation.

When I played the JP Demo I realized quickly that it isn't a story centric game, just dungeon crawling, questing, leveling, gearing up, collecting items, and grouping. So I'd imagine all the translating is really in the vendors and quest text.
So it's no surprise, and only can mean we in the US get it quicker! ^_^
No, the Asian version does not include english subtitles now. There'll be another Asian version in the future, however, that'll include english subtitles. For that, I already created a topic about it:

From what I found, the Asian version was delayed to August, the month online retailers are pegging for Ragnarok Odyssey's release as well.
I'm waiting for XSEED even if it takes them until next year, but my body certainly wouldn't last that long due to overload excitement.
I don't think it's going to take them a year, lol. From what I understand, and from the other posters are saying, it's not a particularly text-heavy game (which is why it's been so import-friendly). I think the predicted August 22nd date sounds about on par.

I used to think that, but after I saw that they're still somewhat translating and editing the game, and how long it usually takes from that point until it's a final product, it wouldn't be unsafe to say it might be released in October/November, although October will be quite the crowded month for the PS Vita, I'd rather let it be released in September or November.
